A 2-day in-house course – in French – for any executive who needs to successfully undertake negotiations of highly strategic importance
Negotiating is a game of give and take. You need to be able to avoid traps and present your arguments with conviction, combined with subtlety and flair.
This course will provide you with the tools required to successfully undertake highly-strategic negotiations, to be rational rather than emotional, keeping your calm in order to retain the upper hand, even under pressure.
This course is run by three trainers with complementary skills :
- a former negotiator with the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN) the special operations unit of the French Armed Forces, used to handling highly-sensitive situations : hostage-taking, terrorism, legal proceedings …
- an expert in high-level business negotiations
- an interpersonal skills consultant
During a series of role-plays, you will learn to prepare and manage the different types of negotiations :
- one-to-one discussions
- group meetings
- telephone techniques
You will also understand the importance of not only what you say but also how you say it, together with your facial expressions and body language.
